Autographs, which fall one per box, come in the form of Historic Signatures. Signers include comics legend Stan Lee, boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, actress Bo Derek, and Yogi Berra. Museum Age memorabilia cards return, also falling one per box.

Going back more than 80 years is a tribute to 1933 Delong Gum. The updated take on the iconic set features new players. Golden Age Playing Cards (1:3 packs) give collectors the chance to build a full deck of 52 different cards and a pair of jokers. The Three Stooges star in their own nine-card insert set, one of which is in every hobby box. Other inserts include Bread for Energy (ten cards, 1:12 packs) and Tip Top Bread Labels (ten cards, 1:24 packs).

2013 Panini Golden Age also includes the first fully licensed Bad News Bears cards. Besides a handful of cards in the bases set, there are autographs and inserts. Signers from the film include Tatum O'Neal and Jackie Earle Haley.

Every box also comes with an Exhibit Box Loader (40 cards) that highlight some of the biggest news stories from the 1940s through to the 1960s.
